I was born on a hot summer day in Deland, Florida. I was raised in Seville, Florida which is a very small county style town. I attended Seville Public School from K-6 grade. Seville Public school was a very small school with great teachers. One of the teachers was Mrs. Stevenson who was a third grade teacher; Mrs. Stevenson inspired me to become a teacher. Her students were always first and she made learning fun. One day I will be a great teacher has Mrs. Stevenson. My name is Nancy Perez. I was born on May 24, 1980. I was raised by my grandparents who I truly appreciate for all their hard work and dedicating to me. I attended elementary school at Seville Public school from K-6 grade. After elementary school I attended Taylor Middle High†¦show more content†¦I graduate in June of 1999. After graduating, I got married in July of 1999. I’ve been married for about eleven years with my wonderful husband. I am a mother of four wonderful children who I love and adore. I h ave one girl Miranda 10 years old and three boys; Ezequiel 7 years old, Anthony 4 years old and my darling Joshua 9 months old. My family is a big part of my life. After the birth of my second child I attended Daytona Community College in 2003 to start my career as a teacher. I was a part time student because I worked full time. I worked for Volusia County School Board as ESOL Paraprofessional for 9 years. I loved my job as an ESOL para; working with ESOL students was amazing. I would work with them one on one to help them with English. As I worked with students, that made my desire of becoming a teacher greater. I wanted to help students in so many ways. So that’s when I decided to go to college to finish my degree. I finished Daytona Community College in 2006; I received my Associate degree in Elementary Education. After graduating from Daytona Community College I attended UCF in Daytona Beach for my degree in Early Education. I attending UCF part time for two years I took 7 courses for Early Elementary Education. In 2008, I found out I was pregnant with my little boy Joshua. I was really excited but my son was diagnosed with Spinal Bifida in January of 2009.
